The notification is published in Employment News and leading newspapers. Candidates applying for the test can obtain the Information Bulletin and Application Forms through the notified branches of the Syndicate Bank by paying the fee in cash. General Category candidates have to pay Rs.400/-. OBC candidates have to pay Rs.200/- and SC/ST/Physically/Visually handicapped candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.100/-.
The Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by post from the Syndicate Bank, National Physical Laboratory Branch, Dr.K.S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi - 110 012, by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.475/-, Rs.275/- or Rs.175/- as applicable, (includes Rs.75/- as postal/handling charges), drawn in favour of Syndicate Bank (Account CSIR), New Delhi, payable at New Delhi. For this purpose, the candidate should send a request to the Bank with two address slips clearly mentioning the address at which he/she desires the documents to be sent by Registered Post.
The candidate should write his/her Name, Date of Birth, Address, Date of Examination and subject code on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
